The children in the pre school have spent the last 2 weeks learning about different pets and how to care for them.
They have done lots of exciting activities including a trip to Pets at Home where they saw various animals and learnt about what foods they eat.
They bought some hamster food for Michelle’s son, Charlie’s hamster Marley and chose a Christmas dog toy for Yvonne’s dog Stanley.
The children really enjoyed travelling to the pet shop by bus and having the opportunity to have a look at the trains.
We also had a visit from Laura’s rabbit Coco. The children and staff loved having Coco in nursery and being able to hold, stroke, brush and watch her hopping around pre school.
