Early years experiences that last a lifetime

At our 9 nurseries across Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees, we are committed to providing all children with early years experiences that last a lifetime.  As well as offering a wide range of high quality of teaching and extra-curricular activities, we work in partnership with Local Authority Early Years Services, Children & Family Centres, and NHS Trusts to support children, parents and families in their communities.

We are open!

Following on from the Government announcement on January 4th 2021, we are currently open as usual.

We are following all Government guidance and will be sure to keep you updated if anything changes with our provision. If you would like to enquire about taking a place or to book a ‘Covid-19 Secure’ visit at any of our nurseries, please contact the nursery manager who will be happy to speak to you.

All our nurseries are Covid-19 Secure, with all recommended safety measure in place at all times.

Take care and stay safe.

Nursery News

Here’s what’s been happening across our nurseries

Cause and Effect

The children in our baby room have been experiencing cause and effect sticking cotton wool on sticky tape. Developing cause and effect is important as your baby learns that their behaviour and actions result in a response. This helps your child to develop early communication and cognition skills, which are necessary to understand the cause and effect relationship.

Rice and Pasta Play

Spring Cottage's babies room have been exploring the qualities of rice and pasta play. Children's imaginations are sparked when they have the opportunity to play with tactile materials like pasta and rice. They make their own discoveries and this stimulates their curiosity and develops knowledge too.

Shape, Size and Measure

The children in the baby room have been exploring shape, size and measure. Shape and measure is an important aspect of mathematical development. Children need to learn about shapes in their environment and the concept of measure in order to gain spatial awareness and mathematical understanding. Learning looks a lot of fun!!
