Winter Time

The pre-school children have been exploring things all about winter.  They’ve been experimenting with ice and how to melt it. They have been making some wonderful pictures and collages and having lots of conversations around winter, clothing they need to wear and the different weather they experience.

Soup Making

The children in the toddler room have been very busy recently! Learning Colours

The children in the toddler room have been learning about colours!  The practitioners wanted to encourage the children’s learning in this area so introduced the colour monster book. Happy Builders

The children in the toddler room have shown lots of interest in building with the loose part large bricks and have built lots of different structures.   The practitioners extended the children's interest by creating a small world tuff stop that enabled the children to access more differing sized loose parts, tools, and tape measures.   [...]

Outdoor Fun!

The pre-school children at are enjoying playing and exploring in the woodland garden. They are developing gross motor skills, knowledge and understanding of the world and personal, social and emotional development whilst being happy and healthy outdoors.
