We have been enjoying a spooky week this week! The pre-school children have been creating their own and carving pumpkins. They have dressed up, played 'find the eyeballs' and had a Halloween party with lots of scary (but tasty) foods to taste!
Our team at attended a course delivered by @ltl_news following a grant they received from Learning Through Landscapes. In partnership with Better Start Bradford, the children are joining in Forest School sessions. Every week, for 9 weeks, they are exploring around Woodhall Lake where the staff and children are enjoying the natural environment. The children from the Bluebells room have been constructing with different sized wooden blocks. They are developing their awareness of space, shape and measure, fine and gross motor skills, working together and creating and thinking critically. Isn't it amazing what a few wooden blocks can do to stimulate and develop young minds?!

Our children in the Toddler room have taken home these Autumn bags. We are hoping that our children can go out with their families and look at the wonderful Autumn changes happening. We can’t wait for the children to bring their bags back to nursery for us all to look at what everyone has found!
